Unburial

Berka is 31 years old and a failure girl. She cannot cope with the breakup and she is constantly under the illusion that her beloved Olga will come back to her. When her dad persuades her to come to her family home for a funeral, Berka has to confront him and a former beloved.

Directed by Artur Wyrzykowski, Unburial leans on a strong ensemble — Agnieszka Matan, Jacek Poniedziałek, Robert Czebotar — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2022.
