Mingler

Mingler, a new dating platform, offers a safe space for people to date and socialise. In order to join, members must undergo intense psychological testing to ensure they understand and practice consent, respect and self-growth. After having little success with women, Brody decides to join. He soon realises the complexity of the testing, leading to unexpected consequences.

Directed by Emma Thomason, Mingler leans on a strong ensemble — Peter Williams, Fraser Murray, Mason Hewett — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about science fiction titles of 2024.
