Jangah & Chichung

In the Royal Mansion near the old nuclear power plant, there are people who look ordinary but have superpowers. It is not clear how they obtained their superpowers. What is certain is that it is also not an ability that can be used easily. There is a fatal flaw in Jang-ah's superpower seal wind, which occurs for just one hour after drinking 88 Coke. After one shot, you have to rest for 10 seconds. The same goes for Chi-Cheong's superpowers. Directed by Kim Tae-hun, Jangah & Chichung leans on a strong ensemble — Jin Goo, Um Mun-suk, Hong Dal-pyo — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2021.
