Set in a small port town a little far from the city center, a confinement incident triggers the gears of the three characters, depicting the moment when people with difficulties in life take a step forward.
Directed by Takayuki Hayashi, From Dawn to Midday on the Sea leans on a strong ensemble — Kaito Yoshimura, Hanon, Yu Uemura — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
