
Dílson, Dadá and Denis live in the El Vidigal quarter of Rio de Janeiro, and the three friends share an interest in acting. We learn about their life experiences, about their dreams, hopes and desires. From an economic standpoint they, like many other Brazilians, can only dream about certain things.
Directed by Eduardo Vaisman, Dadá leans on a strong ensemble — Thaísa Medina, Jésus Lino, Jonathan Haagensen — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2002.
