When Carla learns that her boyfriend is moving abroad, she is heartbroken. Gone are the wonderful times she had with her boyfriend. With gloomy thoughts she hangs out in a bar, where she meets the prostitute Roswita. After a time in prison, Roswita is reformed and now wants to quit to take care of Carla instead. It doesn't take long for Roswita to return to her former life and Carla follows her on her wild and merry adventures.
Directed by John Francis, Bad Company leans on a strong ensemble — Debi Diamond, Pam Snyder, Jennifer — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1991.
