
Shan is in search of her twin sister who disappeared leaving nothing more than a native doll. Along the way she meets a mobile film crew. They discover that something isn't quite right with the boarding house in which they're staying.
Directed by Ivan Lai Kai-Ming, The Imp leans on a strong ensemble — Diana Pang Dan, Mark Cheng Ho-Nam, Emiko Ishizuka — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 1996.
