Restaurant

Janhvi and Padmakka are descendants of royal Maharashtrian family who run a Restaurant business. Janhvi is a trained cook but has given up cooking after the death of her lover Paul. Sameer, Janhvi's friend joins them as a cook to make things better all is going well until the Resturant property runs into dispute.

Directed by Sachin Kundalkar, Restaurant leans on a strong ensemble — Sonali Kulkarni, Uttara Baokar, Sameer Dharmadhikari — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2006.
