The Redeemables

Based on true events that focus on New York City's landlord tenant laws. After the death of his parents, Marty struggles to maintain the home he inherited. The burden gets even worse when his love interest decides to move in and bring her friends with her. Marty struggles with maintaining the home and managing a bunch of squatters who each have problems of their own that create even more problems for him.

Directed by Al Dubinsky, The Redeemables leans on a strong ensemble — Alexander Reed, Mesha Millington, Ian Hayes — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2022.
