About Andra and Ljubica
This comedy shows the events before the Second World War. Master Toza, a rich and prominent merchant, hires judge Andra to teach his daughter Ljubica. Andra is a poor student and SKOJ member, in which he organizes courses on class struggle and other activities with other youths.
Directed by Soja Jovanović, Andra and Ljubica leans on a strong ensemble — Jelisaveta Sablić, Boro Stjepanović, Miodrag Andrić — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about tv movie titles of 1975.
