About Aldaahia
Sherine marries Ashraf against the wishes of her wealthy businessman father. Then Sherine disappears and her husband informs the police and tells them that the kidnappers offered him a million pounds to return her. The police officers discover Ashraf's involvement in his wife's disappearance and they locate Sherine and rescue her. Ashraf flees and the police chase him.
Directed by Abdelhadi taha, Aldaahia leans on a strong ensemble — Eman, Mahmoud Masoud, Ibrahim Khan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about crime titles of 1986.
