In his wanderings, Wiro Sableng (Atin Martino) is involved in the business of painting naked women. The painting that the painter wanted to give to his prospective student disappeared along with the painter's death. Thanks to the guidance of Dewa Tuak (Arthur Tobing), Wiro meets Permani (Eva Chitra), who is involved in a love triangle. Wiro intervened again. As a result, there was a fight between the two schools. In the middle of the fight, another fight emerged which turned out to be over the painting that Wiro was looking for. Wiro solves all problems.
Directed by Bachroem Halilintar, The Old Ax Warrior Said leans on a strong ensemble — Atin Martino, Eva Chitra Rosalina, Arthur Tobing — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about action titles of 1990.
