Kordon

Kordon tells the story of four ordinary women who, on the border with Ukraine in a station on the outskirts of a Zahony country that seems to stand still in time, do something extraordinary to help and give hope to a people under siege. A moving portrait of female resistance, courage and solidarity.

Directed by Alice Tomassini, Kordon leans on a strong ensemble — Oleksiy Horbunov, Rostyslav Bome, Oleksandr Yatsenko — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about documentary titles of 2022.
