The story revolves around Pierre who is 13 years old when he loses his mother. He’s a shy boy who lives only for his passion: skateboarding. Thirty-something Bertrand is a seasonal worker on Pierre’s father’s farm. United by their shared passion of skateboarding, they look to one another for the strength to rebuild and assert themselves, and to try to face up to their impossible losses.
Directed by Antoine Besse, Ollie leans on a strong ensemble — Théo Christine, Cédric Kahn, Emmanuelle Bercot — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2025.
