In Haesung's house, his wife Soojeong congratulates Haesung for having his book published. In the bathroom, baby Minho is playing inside a baby bathtub. Haesung hears a weird sound and runs into Minho's room. The sound of a splash gets louder which stops with a scream of Soojeong. Startled, Haesung opens the door to find Soojeong who is holding Minho, soaked with water and, covered in a blanket. She says there's been an accident.
Directed by Choi Beom-seok, Baby Bathtub leans on a strong ensemble — Roh Jae-won, Ji So-young, Lee So-eun — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2023.
