About Uma Tarde pra Tirar Retrato
Three long-time friends, who are black gay men over fifty, arrange to meet up weeks before one of them moves to another city. The aim is, through a photo session, to reduce their nostalgia and strengthen their mutual support at a dramatic time in society, while at the same time planning future actions with the hope that this moment will pass.
Directed by André Sandino, Uma Tarde pra Tirar Retrato leans on a strong ensemble — Márcio Januário, Carlos Oxalá, José Roberto Pacheco — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
