While the events are narrated solely through the modern ballet from a historical perspective, the impact of these events on society and their reflections on individuals are narrated through a love story embedded in the main story. Finally, an analysis is presented to the audience, composed of people from all segments of society, of how these events shaped society in 1990.
Directed by Yavuz Özkan, Ateş Üstünde Yürümek leans on a strong ensemble — Yılmaz Zafer, Hülya Aksular, Kürşat Alnıaçık — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
