The staged passages were supplemented with documentary photos of famous localities, monuments, important events, life and achievements of the inhabitants of Poznan and Greater Poland.
Directed by Zygmunt Wesołowski, Odrodzona Polska leans on a strong ensemble — Franciszek Ryll, Boleslaw Szczurkiewicz, Wojciech Rolicz — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1924.
