The Farewell Date

PUTRI and WILDAN have to abide to a condition set by Wildan's parents if they want their relationship to be approved: Wildan must meet his former lover and first love, TASYA, for the last time on a set date. Knowing how much Wildan had loved Tasya in the past, Putri is worried that Wildan will be defeated by memories and chooses Tasya.

Directed by Azzam Fi Rullah, The Farewell Date leans on a strong ensemble — Kurnia Alexander, Astrid Rahadiani, Amanda Gondowijoyo — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2023.
