In an off centered town just north of London. In an orb about ten feet above ours, exists Wilbur. Baker Extraordinaire. Stutterer Supreme. Unfortunately, for this thirty-something man, woman are not flocking. Sure he's sweet, but his Mother and her fleshy arms have the best of him and Wilbur must escape her grasp. After all, everyone in the whole town seems to be in a relationship, but him. Love is his only escape. Will he ever be free?
Directed by Dago Rodriguez, Wilbur leans on a strong ensemble — Charlie Weirauch, Aynsley Bubbico, Kay D'Arcy — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2007.

Stanley Ford leads an idyllic bachelor life. He is a nationally syndicated cartoonist whose Bash Brannigan series provides him with a luxury townhouse and a full-time valet, Charles. When he wakes up the morning after the night before - he had attended a friend's stag party - he finds that he is married to the very beautiful woman who popped out of the cake - and who doesn't speak a word of English. Despite his initial protestations, he comes to like married life and even changes his cartoon character from a super spy to a somewhat harried husband.
