About Yu Rock Reunion
"YU Rock Reunion" is a tribute to Yugoslav rock music. This documentary features several pop-rock bands from Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia (former SFR Yugoslavia), recorded at the Rock Uranak Tour '07. Bebek, Valentino, Divlje Jagode, Van Gogh, Elektricni Orgazam, Vlada Divljan of Idoli, and others - got together for the first time in 20 years to play for their fans in Canada and the U.S. Former Yugoslav rock stars and music legends came to North America in September of 2007, and together played for the people of all nationalities.
Directed by Branislav R. Tatalović, Yu Rock Reunion leans on a strong ensemble — Željko Bebek, Boris Daich, Vladimir 'Vlada' Divljan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about music titles of 2008.
