Young veterinarian Kakhaber is planning to start working in village, but he falls in love with Neli,Singer woman, and starts working as an administrator in her quartet. He is not fit for his new job and because of that everyone bullies him, including Nellie. On of the quortet's tours he meets a girl, who will persuade him to return to his profession again.
Directed by Shota Managadze, The Flower on the Snow leans on a strong ensemble — Leo Antadze, Julieta Vashakmadze, Nato Kobakhidze — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1961.
