Retired gang member Gang-Pil tries to find another job rather than running an illegal inquiry agency to win custody of his daughter back. In order to pay for the lawyer, he accepts Lee Munhee's request to follow the Entrepreneur Park Yongdae, but soon after both Park and Lee go missing and Gang-Pil starts digging in.
Directed by Harry Kim , Too Many Villains leans on a strong ensemble — Kim Joon-bae, Song Seo-Yeon, Seo Hyun-seok — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2011.
