Christian Stürmer is an unscrupulous businessman who does his business stone cold - as well as his lovers. After he has banged his assistant Sylvia in the office, he kicks her out. Deeply hurt, Sylvia seeks comfort from her stepfather Julian. He is furious and plans revenge together with Sylvia. As a former assistant, she knows about the illegal arms deals with which Stürmer is now being blackmailed.
Directed by Paul Rusch, Sex & Crime leans on a strong ensemble — Miss Pomodoro, Katja Semper, Feline Fabre — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 1990.
