Batito Is Unemployed

An unemployed man breaks in to a party member's apartment. He stumbles on evidence of corruption inside the party. The land lord which is also the head of the party bribe the unemployed with perks that eventually puts the burglar at the top of the party.

Directed by Ze'ev Revach, Batito Is Unemployed leans on a strong ensemble — Ze'ev Revach, Aryeh Moskona, Dan Toren — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 1987.
