Brain Ghosts

Tilde is invited to a party, but the brain ghosts are already having a party in her head. Her friend Sara introduces her to a game to conquer her social phobia: if she only stays at the party for 20 minutes she wins. The way to the finish line is paved with old enemies, horror movie tropes, pink bubbles and self-doubt.

Directed by Stef Gaines, Brain Ghosts leans on a strong ensemble — Josefin Glaadh, Dev Karnal Fridén, Shin Mustafa — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2022.
