Many faces for the same woman, whom, you realize, just couldn't bring herself to care enough to live.

Directed by Susanne Ofteringer, Nico Icon leans on a strong ensemble — Nico, Tina Aumont, Christian Aaron Boulogne — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about documentary titles of 1995.
