About Fireworks of the City
A steward who has been serving his master for years is wrongly accused of theft, but he escapes before he is caught. After that, he brings his own son into the family instead of the master's son in order to take revenge, thinking that he will strike his master a few years later. Finally, he does the same thing, but he does not succeed.
Directed by Reza Safaei, Fireworks of the City leans on a strong ensemble — Forouzan, Manoochehr Vossoogh, Ali Miri — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1972.
