Chikan densha: Osawari tahatsu haji-tai

On the train. A man who commits molestation. Taking advantage of the fact that the woman looks down and says nothing, the man escalates with a cucumber. The woman grabbed a tool from her bag and grabbed the man's crotch and attacked him up with all her might. A man's scream echoes inside the car... Six months later, the man who crushed one of his testicles becomes a demon of revenge and searches for the woman.

Directed by Kuninori Yamazaki, Chikan densha: Osawari tahatsu haji-tai leans on a strong ensemble — Sayuri Shinohara, Yumi Yoshiyuki, Kazuhiko Nakamura — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1998.
