A history club member commits suicide by jumping off the school building. Hazuki is curious about the mysterious message, so she consults her father, a detective. She infiltrates the club and begins investigating her. The granddaughter of the powerful Hatsune holds the key to the incident. Hazuki is whipped by Hatsune and lured out by her homeroom teacher, Junko, who indulges in her pleasure. Hazuki is then raped and abducted by Hatsune's men. Hazuki had begun to touch the core, but the tragedy and humiliation had only just begun.
Directed by Futoshi Jinno, BLUE SEASON Temptation Fruit leans on a strong ensemble — Miho Kiuchi, Shôko Nakahara — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1997.
