
A director's cut version of “MISAKI,” a beautiful girl psycho horror suspense aired on TV Tokyo, including unaired slaughter scenes and making-of scenes. Misaki, a girl with mysterious abilities, tries to solve the mystery of a series of bizarre murders of students at a certain school.
Directed by Toshirô Saiga, 霊女 MISAKI 1 leans on a strong ensemble — Hiroko Matsunaga, Mika Katsumura, Nobuko Sakuma — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 2004.

Young art student Hideo paints an unnerving portrait of Tomie, who whispers that she loves him. Inexplicably, he reacts by stabbing her to death with a painting trowel. Two friends, Takumi and Shunichi, arrive on the scene and help him dispose of the body.
