About Station of the Forgotten
"Station of the forgotten" chronicles the relationship between Domingo, an old sailor stranded away from the sea and Pau, a teenager who finds difficult to fit in society. Their paths will cross at the old people's home where Domingo now lives, and where Pau is serving a community service sentence. They find eachother at a key point in their respective lives: Pau is negotiating the tricky path from adolescence to maturity, and Domingo, the equally tricky one leading from old age to death.
Directed by Christian Molina, Sandra Serna, Station of the Forgotten leans on a strong ensemble — Fermí Reixach, Nilo Mur, Katia Klein — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2010.
