About Yakuza's Lady 4
The Minowa clan is a huge yakuza organisation with over 20,000 members. Misa, the daughter of the chairman of the Minowa clan, decides to accept her fate and the yakuza blood that runs in her veins. However, when she returns to her hometown, her father Genzo is waiting for her in a critical condition. And there is a hitman from the Kamisui-Rengo gang who is after Genzo's life.
Directed by Ryō Kaihara, Yakuza's Lady 4 leans on a strong ensemble — Akiho Yoshizawa, Yuya Ishikawa, Sarina Takeuchi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2015.
