About Meeting on the honeymoon
The singer (Raouf Wagdy) and his bride (Mona) travel to Ismailia to spend their honeymoon and complete his artistic work. Mona receives a phone call from her brother, who recently got out of prison, and Raouf begins to doubt her, especially after he receives a phone call informing him of his wife’s betrayal.
Directed by Nagy Angelo, Meeting on the honeymoon leans on a strong ensemble — Eman Elbahr Darwish, Elham Shahein, Hussein ElSherbiny — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1987.
