Vefk-i Cin Sekar

Safiye, Murat's mother, who is in her mid-thirties, goes to a teacher and has an amulet written to open her son's destiny. Meanwhile, Murat falls in love with Pelin, whom he meets by chance on the street. As a result of fate and magic colliding, Murat and Pelin begin to have the same nightmares. When Safiye realizes something is wrong, she goes back to the scholar, who this time performs a Vefk spell. The Vefk spell causes the situation to become increasingly complicated.

Directed by Cemal Fidan, Vefk-i Cin Sekar leans on a strong ensemble — Güvenç Selekman, Gözde Duru, Ahmet Şekeroğlu — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 2024.
