About La Nouvelle Musique
In a world where there is only one type of music, Tom and Vilma, traumatized at birth, are the only ones who do not like this unique melody called Music. These two siblings work in the Research & Innovation department of the music industry giant. After accumulating failures in their quest for a new melody, they are unceremoniously fired by the president's new wife. The president's son, who is on bad terms with his young stepmother, gives them a glimpse of a solution to get their jobs back.
Directed by Nicolas Lebrun, François Goetghebeur, La Nouvelle Musique leans on a strong ensemble — Valérian Béhar-Bonnet, Élisa Benizio, Guillaume Loublier — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2016.
