A father and son go on a camping trip to enjoy the pristine nature and spend time together. When they stop for the night, the boy begins to hear strange voices and then disappears without a trace. In the course of long and desperate attempts to find his son, the father meets a hermit living in the forest wilderness. From him the man learns that the forest is full of ancient signs and lives by its own laws.
Directed by Mikhail Konstantinov, Let Me Out leans on a strong ensemble — Vladimir Verevochkin, Pavel Basov, Leonid Basov — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
