About Leuit Sang Alang
It is said that Nadin (22 years old) is one of the students who made a cultural visit to Kasepuhan Banten Kidul, she violated the rules that should not be done in the sacred traditional leuit (rice barn). This made Nadin meet a mysterious village youth named Alang (25 years old) who came to bring happiness and made Nadin fall in love but soon he disappeared. Nadin searched until she began to realize what was really happening. Under the traditional leuit she mourned her sadness dreaming of beauty that never came true.
Directed by Darwin Mahesa, Leuit Sang Alang leans on a strong ensemble — Felicia Caroline, Cipta Kesuma, Aris Kurniawan — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2024.
