Nico

A group of young teenagers are aboard a bus speeding down a country road. They seem cheerful, as if they were going on vacation, but their destination is actually the funeral of one of their friends. During the trip, they try to stave off boredom and avoid the subject, but the unspeakable always resurfaces in one way or another. They must face the insurmountable, remember the good times, feel anger, but also learn to say goodbye, or at least take "one step at a time" before continuing on their way.

Directed by Hugo Becker, Nico leans on a strong ensemble — Théo Christine, Louis Seillé, Ivy Lonak — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2020.
