About Death of a Hoodlum
A jewel heist goes wrong, resulting in several deaths. Naschy is left with the loot and he takes off with the the cash before the gang is supposed to meet back up. Gang leader Frank Brana sets out to track down the man and the jewels with the help of his gang.
Directed by León Klimovsky, Death of a Hoodlum leans on a strong ensemble — Carmen Sevilla, Paul Naschy, Heinrich Starhemberg — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about thriller titles of 1975.
