Comando X

Manuel, a young man with a lot of creativity in search of a better economic position, meets in a fortuitous way with Lucía, daughter of the businessman who can support his project. To be accepted by his possible father-in-law and be able to fulfill his dream of being a successful businessman, Manuel does everything to win over Lucía. Without realizing it, he goes through funny situations in which he finds himself immersed in terrorist actions against the government. Manuel must decide whether to continue with those "commitments" or have a clear conscience according to his principles.

Directed by José Antonio Varela, Comando X leans on a strong ensemble — Alexandra Braun, Francisco Denis, Guillermo Londoño — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2008.
