About Dove of peace
A couple with contradictory personalities, the wife is a serious cardiologist, and the husband is a frivolous person who loves a life of debauchery and debauchery. Their differences escalate and lead to divorce, even though they have a baby girl, whom the father leaves to live without restrictions. The girl grows up, studies music, meets a young man and falls in love with him. She asks for his help in finding her father and reuniting the family.
Directed by Helmy Rafla, Dove of peace leans on a strong ensemble — Kamal Al-Shenawy, Shadia, Hagar Hamdy — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1947.
