Until It Stops Beating

Dani (14) starts to fall in love with Leo, the ghost of a boy he meets while playing with a Ouija board on his computer. One night, after almost being caught by his mother, he has a rather strange dream in which he is given the opportunity to get to know his friend better, although an evil presence lurks without him being aware.

Directed by Sebas Cortez, Until It Stops Beating leans on a strong ensemble — Nil Gómez, Itziar Lember, Martí Cordero — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about horror titles of 2024.
