The Stadium

This film is part of a sports trilogy, with "Si je t'attrape... je te nique" (INEXES) and "Team Sex" (Gay Division/Vito Video), shot in the spring of 2003 and using (partly) as a striking location one of the main soccer stadiums in Prague. Leonardo di Marco plays a gay guy who's into track team athletes and who gets his fill of them. Another location, used here for scenes 3 and 6, can be seen in the celebrated 4way of "Team Training" (AYOR Studios, 2004) which stars two favorites from The Stadium, Johnny Saint and Joseph Ther.

Directed by Robert Boggs, The Stadium leans on a strong ensemble — Mirko Polakov, Patrik Bona, Johnny Saint — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.

The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 2003.
