About Nights of pleasure
A couple has twins, but disagreements arise between them, making it impossible for them to continue their married life. They separate with an agreement that each of them will take care of one of their children. The child, whose name is Abdul Hamid, is raised by the husband and grows up to be virtuous and have good morals, unlike his brother Abdul Aziz, who is raised in a bad way by his mother. They come together to love the same girl.
Directed by Niazi Mostafa, Nights of pleasure leans on a strong ensemble — Baba Ezzedine, Rafeaa ElShal, Mokhtar Hussain — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 1947.
