About Solarians
Vadim is an underground car park attendant, desperately in need of sun and company. He goes to the tanning salon where the blue light of the UV tints the blues with a sunny poetry. There he meets Léonore, his cabin neighbour, whose presence warms his heart. But the walls of the salon separate them: although he only knows her voice, Vadim would like to meet her in person.
Directed by Clarence Larrivoire, Solarians leans on a strong ensemble — Sébastien Chassagne, Juliette Armanet, Lucas Pastor — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2024.
