About Nemar el-Talamzah
Three friends, Mustafa, Magdy, and Ahmed, decide to work during their summer vacation. While they wait for the results, they rent a buffet to sell sweets, iced drinks, and sandwiches. Each of them has his dreams and ambitions. Magdy loves his colleague Nashwa and wants to marry her. Magdy does not know that his other friend Ahmed loves her the same way. While Ahmed loves music and aspires to become a famous singer, one of the dancers tries to cast her net on Ahmed.
Directed by Essa Karama, Nemar el-Talamzah leans on a strong ensemble — Ahmed Ramzy, Hassan Youssef, Youssef Fakhr El Din — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about screen titles of 1964.
