About Little Lotus
Chou Tsai-ken, a young carpenter, falls in love with a country girl, Little Lotus Chin Ho-hua. Although he has her father's consent to marry her, he lacks means to support a wife. One day, Little Lotus' beauty catches the eye of Shen Tzu-Kuei, only son of the Governor and a good-for-nothing young man keen on sensual pleasures.
Directed by Tang Huang, Little Lotus leans on a strong ensemble — Chang Yang, Kitty Ting Hao, Lo Wei — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
