Documentary-style comedy about Adam & The Ants making a charmingly off-kilter trip to their local 24-hour supermarket at 2am on a nondescript weekday morning. Cruising the aisles like some kind of bizarre surrogate family-unit, the flamboyantly dressed band-members are thrown into crisis when one of their 2 drummers suddenly goes missing.
Directed by Ben Gregor, Ant Muzak leans on a strong ensemble — Nick Moran, Mackenzie Crook, Steve Oram — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about comedy titles of 2002.
