About Behind the Curtain of Fog
Morteza, a deaf child who lost his father, lives in a village with his mother. He, who is not a study student, becomes completely unmotivated when dealing with the bad-tempered school teacher. Later, when Morteza's classmates inform him of the teacher's intention to marry his mother, he becomes pessimistic towards his mother and the teacher.
Directed by Parviz Sheykhtadi, Behind the Curtain of Fog leans on a strong ensemble — Rozita Ghaffari, Alireza Sheikholeslami, Jahangir Almasi — to carry a story that balances spectacle with character.
The film landed with audiences for its craft and performances, and remains one of the most talked-about drama titles of 2005.
